Open Journals Nigeria (OJN) is an "open access" academic publisher, providing peer-reviewed scholarly journals that facilitates effective access to high "quality and original" research findings within the domains of Natural and Applied Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Literature and Linguistics, Social Science and Humanities, Medical and Biosciences Researches. All research and review articles published by OJN are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication. OJN is sustained by supporting authors' contribution, volunteer services and donations. OJN relies heavily on the academic and research experience of senior Nigerian academics (together with other foreign scholarly experts) who man the editorial boards of its faculty journals, thereby ensuring high quality and plagiarism-proof publication.
The OJN Platform operates under the Open Access Journal Mode since Open Access seeks to return scholarly publishing to its original purpose: to spread knowledge and allow that knowledge to be built upon.
The OJN Platform operates a peer review system. In this model, each manuscript undergoes review from 2 to 3 faculty members the in articles' field, thus eliminating research bias, ensuring validity, originality and significance.
The OJN Platform operates a strict Bi-annual Issue Publication. Call for Papers will be published on this website as soon as the Editorial board is set for manuscript submission.
In the bid to strengthen Open Journals Nigeria as a helpful research source for scholars, researchers and students, we are officially inviting professionals in the academic field to join its team in piloting this great platform to the highest of heights. If you are interested in becoming a partner or sponsor of OJN, you can become an Editor, a Reviewer, an Editorial Assistant, an Author, a Fundraiser or propose a new Journal. We look forward to your constant support and initiative in improving the quality of Open Journals Nigeria.
Open Journals Nigeria is seeking scholars interested in serving as volunteer reviewers for various journals. If you have a colleague who may enjoy serving as a volunteer reviewer for OJN, please feel free to forward OJN website address to him or her (see referrer form below) or refer him or her to us. The primary responsibility of a reviewer is to provide an honest and constructive assessment of the value of a manuscript.
